The kitchen was a blessing for those looking to get their fix of healthy food during the pandemic. Offering a healthy mix of unique savory and sweet treats, there’s something for everyone here. Expect everything from cashew parmesan and walnut eggplant pâté, to a “meat” lasagna. For the sweet tooth, there are plenty of chocolate tahini fudge cookies, cheesecakes and brownies.
Do you like plant-based cuisine but not the hole it burns in your pocket? Then Bodhi Greens Cafe is the best place to go in Aarambol. With outlets scattered across Dharamkot and Leh as well, this menu is dedicated to serving plant-based cuisine using gut-friendly ingredients. And above all, at affordable prices. They have a detailed description of superfoods and their benefits and use them liberally in their ice cream. The menu may be 70% vegan, but it’s 100% delicious. Located near a paddy field, Elaa Cafe’s menu is conceptualized and inspired by Goan cuisine. Using local and responsibly sourced ingredients, expect comforting classics with a healthy green twist. So there is Avocado Kasoondi on Pav, All Green Poi, Tapioca Pudding and even a Peanut Butter Mousse!
Owned by Chef Ruta, the restaurant offers the best of his stay in San Francisco and the back streets of Goa. Housed in a cottage, the place offers indoor and outdoor seating with an all-encompassing menu. Here, everything is homemade, from their specialty bread, crisps, jam, mustard and much more.
