Eyes will widen as children and adults alike discover the giant gingerbread houses or “Merry Mansions,” an exhibit celebrating with replicas of Houston’s famous Bayou Bend collection and gardens, as well as historic estates. located along North Post Oak Lane. Opening Nov. 27 with hundreds of pounds of gingerbread, candy and fragrant candy, the authentic exhibit features intricately decorated homemade masterpieces soaring six feet above the sea.
