We Brits are very lucky because every week a multitude of new vegan products hit the supermarket shelves.
With so many vegan product launches every week, it can be hard to keep pace!
That’s why we’ll bring you the latest product news so you never miss a herbal launch again.
1. LEON restaurants present a new vegan steak wrap
LEON has launched an exciting new vegan product as part of their fall menu update – a vegan steak wrap.
KINDa Ste * k Wrap features a plant-based melt-in-your-mouth “steak” with pink pepper mayonnaise, smoked garlic aioli, peppery arugula, slowly roasted peppers and onions.
Hungry vegans won’t be disappointed with a trip to LEON as the menu also offers a choice of plant-based side dishes like the delicious Aioli Mac & Cheese Bites.
2. New LEON launches with new products at Sainsbury’s
Those who can’t make it to a LEON restaurant can savor some vegan flavors at home or on the go with six new dishes launching in Sainsbury’s starting September 22.
The range includes three filling soups with hearty flavors like peas and pesto and roasted tomatoes and harissa, which will cost £ 2.25.
LEON also offers cold lunch options like green salad and cereal and Brazilian black bean salad. A 250g take-out pack is available for a suggested retail price of £ 3.50.
3. M&S launches vegan panda bao buns “too cute to eat”
Adorable panda face bao buns with a sticky hoisin mushroom filling are now available at M&S Food Halls.
Steamed buns heat up quickly and easily in the microwave and are ideal for a quick lunch or snack.
4. NOMO’s Festive range is available now
NOMO’s Christmas 2021 lineup has been announced and includes some old favorites and some exciting new additions.
The newest addition to the line is the Creamy Choc Reindeer featuring a cute Christmas character with a cookie dough filling without dairy, eggs and gluten.
The line also includes the return of Caramel Drops favorites and the classic NOMO Advent Calendar, as well as an all-new Caramel Advent Calendar that features a full-size Caramel Bar for Christmas Day!
The range is currently available on the NOMO website and will be rolled out to most major UK retailers.
5. Choc Affair launches the first UK registered oat milk chocolate bars
Award-winning UK confectionery maker Choc Affair has launched a delicious line of oat milk chocolate bars – the first in the UK to be registered with the Vegan Society’s Vegan brand.
Bars are available in classic milk, salted caramel, lemon and raspberry, and orange and rhubarb flavors.
The new range of chocolates is available for purchase on the Choc Affair website.
6. New Plant Proteinz Soups from Heinz
Heinz has developed three new vegan soups, and each contains 14-15 grams of protein per can and two of your five per day.
The soups, available in Mediterranean flavors of tomato and beans, coconut and jackfruit curry, and Moroccan chickpeas and peppers, promise to provide a nutritious and affordable meal in minutes.
Heinz Plant Proteinz soups will be available from October in supermarkets nationwide for £ 1.50 per 400g can.
7. New products are coming to Tesco shelves
Eagle-eyed shoppers will have spotted some exciting new products on Tesco shelves this week.
For meatless meat lovers, The Vegetarian Butcher has launched their ‘Vegeterrier’ hot dogs, while Meatless Farm has released a breaded chicken-style burger.
Buyers can also purchase new THIS Isn’t Pork in Blankets just in time for the holiday season.
Passionate bakers will find the alternative to Tesco brand eggs. Each box contains the equivalent of 22 eggs at just £ 2.50 per pack.
New additions have also been added to the Wicked Kitchen line, including outrageously orange and chocolate cookies, cocoa and chia seed cashews, and cookies filled with jazzy jam.
