The Prime Minister will return to Gujarat after attending the 42nd convocation of Anna University on July 29 at around 10 a.m. and will launch and lay the foundation stone for various projects at GIFT City, Gandhinagar at around 4 p.m.

In Gujarat, he will visit Sabar Dairy and lay the foundation stone for projects worth more than Rs 1,000 crore. “These projects will enable local farmers and milk producers to be more self-reliant and increase their incomes. It will also give a boost to the region’s rural economy,” the prime minister’s office said.
At Sabar Dairy, the Prime Minister will inaugurate a powder plant with a capacity of around 120 million tonnes per day (MTPD). In total, the project costs more than Rs 300 crores. In addition, he will inaugurate Sabar Dairy’s aseptic milk packaging plant with a capacity of three lakh liters per day. About Rs 125 crore has been invested in the project.
In addition, he will lay the foundation stone for the Sabar Cheese & Whey Drying Plant project. The project is estimated to cost around Rs 600 crore.

As part of his visit to Gujarat International Finance Tec-City in Gandhinagar on July 29, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for the headquarters of the International Financial Services Centers Authority (IFSCA), the unified commodity regulator financial institutions, financial services, and financial institutions in the International Financial Services Centers (IFSCs) in India.
In addition, he will launch GIFT-IFSC’s first international bullion exchange, the India International Bullion Exchange (IIBX). With IIBX, price discovery can be facilitated at an efficient level and quality and responsible sourcing can be assured, while giving impetus to the financialization of gold in India.
Prime Minister Modi is also expected to launch NSE IFSC-SGX Connect. It is a framework between Singapore Exchange Limited (SGX) and NSE’s subsidiary, GIFT International Financial Services Center (IFSC).
The Prime Minister will declare the 44th Chess Olympiad open on July 28 at the JLN Indoor Stadium, Chennai, during his visit to Tamil Nadu.
On July 29, he will attend the 42nd convocation of the prestigious Anna University in Chennai. In addition to presenting gold medals and certificates to 69 gold medalists, he will address a rally at the event.
